About Ron

Ron started CyberOptik in 2002, at age 14. His first sites were GeoCities pages, then raw HTML, then hosting sites himself. What started as a technical hobby kept growing into an agency.

He ran the company part-time while attending Elmhurst College, bringing in freelancers as the work piled up, and went full-time after graduating in 2010. Two years later, CyberOptik committed to WordPress as its platform, and that decision still holds — it’s the foundation for our design, development, hosting, maintenance, and client support today.

His role grew along with the company. Beyond marketing and business development, Ron established most of the operational systems, team structure, and service model we run on, as well as the acquisition strategy that continues to build on them.

Acquisitions are now a big part of the work: 16 completed under the CyberOptik umbrella, and counting. Ron speaks on due diligence, earn-out structures, client transitions, and post-acquisition integration — how to build deals that work for the buyer, the seller, and the clients in the middle.

None of it is theoretical. The issues he writes and speaks about — website quality, client retention, keeping a growing agency stable — are the ones on his desk that week.
