Keep your GBP optimized, active, and ranking

Google Business Profile is the single most important local ranking asset most businesses ignore after they set it up. We handle the ongoing work: posts, reviews, Q&A, photos, and the Map pack optimization that keeps your listing pulling weight.

Your GBP isn’t a directory listing. Google treats it as a first-class ranking asset for local search. Businesses that keep it active (posts weekly, reviews responded to, Q&A answered, photos current) out-rank businesses that treat it as set-and-forget. This is the ongoing work that most local businesses have neither the time nor the process to keep up with.

What we do

Initial optimization audit.

Category selection, service listings, attributes, business description, hours, and everything else Google gives you to fill out. Most listings we look at have gaps we can fix in the first week.

Weekly or biweekly posts.

Real posts about offers, updates, events, and content, on a schedule Google’s algorithm rewards. Not filler.

Review response management.

We respond to reviews (positive and negative) on your behalf, using your tone and following through on anything that needs escalation.

Q&A monitoring and response.

We answer new questions and seed the questions your customers are asking most often, so the answers are visible before the ask.

Photo updates.

Regular fresh photos, geo-tagged, of work you’re proud of. Old photos hurt more than most owners realize.

Category and service tuning.

If categories or service listings need updating (or if we spot better ones for local rankings), we make the change.

Insights and performance reporting.

Monthly report on search views, actions (calls, clicks, directions), what’s ranking, and what we changed.

Multi-location support.

For businesses with more than one location, we handle each listing consistently and keep them from cannibalizing each other.

How GBP management actually works

The first month is heavier: we audit the existing listing, fix everything that’s incomplete or wrong, and set up the ongoing schedule. From there, monthly work becomes routine but consistent, and consistency is what actually drives rankings.

On reviews: we respond, but we don’t fabricate them. Real customers, real language. If you want a review generation process on top of this (specific outreach after a job to ask for a review), we can build that separately.

GBP work compounds. You won’t see the Map pack shift in week one. Somewhere in month 2-4 is when most clients start seeing measurable movement in search views and actions.

What it costs

Pricing depends on how competitive your market is, whether it’s a single location or multi-location, and how much monthly work makes sense. Hop on a call and we’ll look at your listing and quote a real number based on what your business actually needs.

FAQs

How is this different from local SEO?

Local SEO covers the whole scope: on-page work, local landing pages, citation cleanup, content, GBP, and everything else that influences local rankings. GBP management is a focused subset for businesses that only want the GBP side handled. If you want the broader scope, look at the Local SEO page.

Can you help me set up a new GBP from scratch?

Yes. If you don’t have a verified GBP yet, we handle the setup and verification as a separate onboarding step, then ongoing management continues on the monthly plan. We’ll quote both parts on our first call.

Do you write fake reviews or help me generate reviews?

Fake reviews: no, not ever. Google catches them and it torches your listing when they do. Real review generation (an outreach process to ask satisfied customers for reviews): we can build that separately from GBP management.

What if I have multiple locations?

Multi-location adds volume, so the scope is bigger. We’d want to look at your locations on the first call and quote a real number based on how many listings we’re managing.
