Ecommerce sites built to actually sell, not just look nice

There are a lot of pretty ecom sites out there that don’t actually convert. Ecommerce is a specialty tier for us, priced at $15-30k, because a real WooCommerce build means getting the catalog, payment, tax, shipping, and inventory pieces right, not just picking a nice theme.

Ecommerce is a different animal than a standard website. You’re not just showing people information, you’re asking them to trust you with their card number and their money. That means the catalog structure, checkout flow, tax rules, and shipping setup all have to work correctly on day one. We’ve been building WordPress sites since 2002 and WooCommerce stores are one of our specialty tracks.

What’s included in an ecommerce build

Every WooCommerce build ships with the pieces that actually make a store work, not just look nice.

Product catalog structure & taxonomy

Categories, tags, and variations set up so your store stays organized as it grows, not a flat list that gets messy at 200 products.

Custom product, collection & checkout design

The pages that actually drive a sale get real design attention, not a default theme layout.

WooCommerce build & payment gateways

Stripe, PayPal, and other major gateways configured and tested before launch.

Tax & shipping rule configuration

Set up correctly for how you actually sell and ship, so you’re not fixing tax math after your first orders come in.

Inventory sync

If you have an existing system, stock levels stay accurate across your store and your backend.

Key integrations

Accounting (QuickBooks, Xero), shipping (ShipStation), and email (Klaviyo) connected to the tools that already run your business.

Mobile optimization

Most ecommerce traffic happens on a phone, so the mobile experience gets built as a priority, not a checkbox.

Speed optimization

Ecommerce lives or dies by speed. A slow checkout is a lost sale.

On-page SEO setup

Product and category page titles, meta descriptions, and structure set correctly from day one.

Launch training

We walk your team through how to add products and manage orders before we hand it off.

How we handle ecommerce builds

Ecom is one of the few places where cheap builds cost you money. A pretty $5k ecom site with a broken checkout will lose you more revenue in a month than the extra $10k for a build that actually converts. That’s the real math behind why we price this tier the way we do.

We’re WooCommerce specialists, not Shopify. If you want a Shopify store, we’re not your shop, and we’ll tell you that upfront instead of taking the project anyway. Catalog size and integration complexity are the main price drivers on every ecommerce quote, more than anything else. That’s why every project starts with a scope call to understand your fulfillment model, your product line, and what systems you already run, before we quote a number.

Typical timeline runs 10-16 weeks depending on catalog size and how many integrations you need. Bigger catalogs and more third-party systems push toward the longer end.

What to expect

Every ecommerce project gets scoped before we quote a number. Here’s how that process runs and what it typically costs.

FAQs

Why does ecommerce cost so much more than a standard build?

Because there’s more that has to work correctly. Catalog structure, payment gateways, tax rules, shipping configuration, and inventory all have to be set up right before you take a single order. A standard site just needs to load and look good. An ecommerce site has to actually process money correctly, every time.

Do you build on Shopify?

No. We’re WooCommerce specialists. If Shopify is what you want, we’re not your shop, and we’d rather tell you that upfront than take the project and do a mediocre job on a platform we don’t focus on.

What integrations can you handle?

Accounting tools like QuickBooks and Xero, shipping providers like ShipStation, email platforms like Klaviyo, and inventory sync if you already have a system in place. Tell us what runs your business now and we’ll tell you straight what’s possible.

How long does an ecommerce build take?

Typically 10-16 weeks, depending on catalog size and how many integrations you need. A smaller catalog with fewer integrations lands toward the shorter end. A large catalog with several third-party systems takes longer.

Is there a limit to catalog size?

No hard limit. We’ve built stores with a handful of products and stores with 40,000+ SKUs mass-imported. Bigger catalogs just take more upfront planning on category structure, filtering, and search so the store stays usable as it grows.

Do I have to be on WooCommerce?

For us, yes. It’s the platform we’ve built our ecommerce process around and where we can promise the payment, tax, and shipping setup will actually be done right. If you’re already on WooCommerce, we can also just take over and fix or grow what you have.
